The project at Whitehall Primary School in Easton is a result of need identified by Bristol City Council in response to a shortfall of primary school places in the area and funding for increased nursery places at the Limes. The proposed development will upgrade the existing Whitehall Primary School from a 2FE school into a 3FE to meet local community demand for primary school provisions. The design has been developed in conjunction with the LEP and the stakeholders, SKANSKA, Whitehall Primary School and The Limes Nursery School and Children’s Centre. The project will not only refurbish part of the existing school building, but also retrofit and extend the historic Pavilion building on Johnson's Lane.
The project will be completed in a number of phases, with the whole project due for completion in September 2017.
