White Design has been approached to help develop a new home in the grounds of Trewince Manor (a Grade 1 Listed Building), in an area of outstanding natural beauty (St. Anthony headland on the Roseland peninsular in Cornwall).
The proposal is to provide a home for a young couple and their children, who have recently returned to Cornwall to to help in the running of the family business. As such the house will replace the inadequate manager’s accommodation nearby.
The site is a run-down corner of the grounds with a difficult planning history. There have been previous planning refusals on the site due to proposed over-development and the proximity of the listed building. White Design’s approach has been to prepare plans that are sensitive to the planning constraints to help achieve a positive outcome.
