White Design worked with interest groups in the town to produce a vision document building on consultation work undertaken for the Core Strategy. WDA designed and facilitated a series of consultation events including a workshop with key stakeholders, a public exhibition and public meeting.
In addition to this, an invitation was distributed throughout the town inviting public comment and a website generated to provide access to a wider demographic.
The final vision document has now been approved by the Steering group and is available from; www.boa2026.net.
The vision report proposes the first steps in agreeing a shared plan for the sustainable future of Bradford on Avon. It is a live document intended to be used to guide groups and record activities over this time period to ensure that initiatives are constructive and coordinated.
The proposals contained in the report are designed to make it easier for the people of the town to help shape how Bradford on Avon works, looks and feels in the years ahead. And the proposals are based on a culture of openness, transparency and engagement across all age groups and all backgrounds. They are about people wanting to contribute — and being able to contribute at a time and in a manner that suits their lifestyles and commitments.
